BRACE for the Storm
The BRACE for the Storm workshop can be delivered via the internet to homeowners in your community to teach them how to prepare their homes for the next wind disaster. Participants also learn how to save money on the windstorm portion of their homeowner’s insurance premium.
During each workshop participants will gain valuable insight on how homeowners can undertake one or more windstorm mitigation projects on their homes to strengthen it against Florida’s next wind disaster. The importance of mitigating homes against the damage caused by a flood or wildfire will also introduced.
Neighborhood and community leaders are encouraged to schedule a workshop for local homeowners.
