Volusia Building Industry Association Life Director Delaney Inducted into Florida Housing Hall of Fame

Insurance agent Michelle Delaney, long time active member of the Volusia Building Industry Association and the Greater Orlando Builders Association was honored for her many years of service to her Associations and the housing industry when she was inducted into the prestigious Florida Housing Hall of Fame, at the FHBA Fall Conference in Palm Beach last month.

Delaney is a construction industry insurance expert agent with LRA Insurance and the Top Spike of Florida.

Housing Recovery to Pick Up Steam in 2016, but Challenges Remain

Steady employment and economic growth, pent-up demand, affordable home prices and attractive mortgage rates will keep the housing market on a gradual upward trend in 2016. However, persistent headwinds related to shortages and availability of lots and labor, along with rising materials prices are impeding a more robust recovery, according to economists who participated in the NAHB Fall Construction Forecast Webinar on Oct. 21.
